Electric Bike Tour of Athens
Explore Athens on an electric bike! With this guided cycling tour, we'll experience the rich history and culture of this fascinating place.
Athens Electric Bike Tour Itinerary
At the designated time, we'll meet up at the Solebike office and set off on an unforgettable electric bike tour of the Greek capital. We'll start our journey by riding around the rock of Acropolis, following in the footsteps of the ancient philosophers and politicians of Athens democracy.
As we cycle along the North slope, we'll discover an old small but significant University and then reach the alleys of the picturesque Anafiotika neighborhood. This area is a photographer's paradise with narrow alleys, whitewashed walls, and colorful flowers.
Our tour will continue through very old areas, where you'll admire the remains of a great civilization. We'll stop at the Roman Forum and the Ancient Agora, which dominate this part of the tour before reaching the Kerameikos site. Here, you'll witness the resting place of the heroes.
As we cycle across the Psiri district, you'll get to see graffiti walls, colorful streets, and cafes. We'll then move forward into the heart of Athens, where you'll ride on cobblestone alleys to explore the hidden corners of this ancient city. The guide will share plenty of fascinating legends and anecdotes along the way.
You'll also have the opportunity to walk up the Areopagus Hill for a panoramic city view, photograph the Roman Forum and the emblematic Tower of the Winds, and feel the essence of the oldest part of Athens while cycling in Plaka.
Our tour will continue with the charged atmosphere of the original Olympic Games stadium, the impressive surroundings, and the imposing Temple of Zeus. You'll take a snapshot under the mysterious Hadrian Arch and stand in front of the biggest marble stadium, the Panathenaic Stadium. Finally, you'll take a look among the columns of the challenging Zappeion and admire the impressive soldiers of the Presidential Guard.
Finally, after a total of 3 hours of pedaling, our tour will come to an end back at the starting point.
