Routes and Schedules
The four routes of the Sights of Athens sightseeing bus operate on different schedules in summer (April to October) and winter (November to March):
- Orange line: You’ll pass by Athens’ main attractions, including the Acropolis and the Parthenon. In summer, buses run from 8:30 am to 6 pm every 15 minutes. In winter, service runs from 8:30 am to 5 pm every 20 minutes.
- Blue line - Piraeus: This route connects the cruise port with the city center, giving you the chance to explore Pasalimani and Turcolimani harbors, as well as the New Acropolis Museum. In summer, buses run from 8:30 am to 6 pm every 30 minutes. In winter, service operates from 8:30 am to 5 pm every 75 minutes.
- Yellow line: This route takes you through both historic and modern spots, including the beaches of Aghios Kosmas and the Flisvos Marina. In summer, buses run from 8:30 am to 6 pm every 75 minutes. In winter, service runs from 8:30 am to 5 pm every 90 minutes.
- Green line: It follows the same schedule as the Yellow Line: In summer, buses run from 8:30 am to 6 pm every 75 minutes. In winter, from 8:30 am to 5 pm every 90 minutes.
Schedules are flexible and subject to change.
The Sights of Athens ticket is valid for 48 hours from the moment it's first used, allowing you to hop on and off the bus as many times as you like during that period. The ticket costs € 15 (US$ 17.41) for adults and € 6 (US$ 6.96) for children aged 6 to 12. Kids under 6 ride for free.

Big Bus Athens
The Big Bus of Athens offers three different routes, making it easy and comfortable to explore the city’s most important monuments. An English audio guide is included to share fascinating facts and stories about each site.
Routes and Schedules
- Grey Line: The perfect way to explore Athens’ rich history, visiting landmarks like the Acropolis and Parthenon, the Temple of Zeus, the Parliament, and the National Library. Buses run every 20 minutes from 9 am to 7:30 pm.
- Purple Line-Piraeus: This route explores the city of Piraeus, running every 75 minutes from 9:05 am to 5:30 pm.
- Green Line: This route takes you from the stunning views of the Athenian Riviera to Flisvos Marina, passing the beaches of Aghios Kosmas, Kavouri, and Astir. Buses run every hour from 10 am to 7:10 pm.
