Our guide, Byron, was friendly and engaging and had an excellent knowledge of Greek and Athenian history. He gave a really good introduction to Greek identity and what it means to be Greek. Tour took in some key features and areas of Athens and wasn’t too long.

Excellent tour!! Byron (βυρωνας), our guide of the tour was very nice and teached us a lot of interesting things about history of Greece in general, the city of Athens (ancient history, monuments, etc) and about the meaning of being a greek citizen in the past and at present. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!!

Tour guide Byron was very knowledgeable and knew Athens very well. He was polite and respectful and spoke excellent English. I felt the tour was a bit rushed and would have liked to see more of the city sights, monuments and watched the changing of the guards. But overall a good experience.

Perfect introduction to the city of Athens with heaps of tips on how to spend your time there that you won't get from your usual research. Sam's knowledge and enthusiasm for the city means you'll make the most of being a tourist but you'll also be able to find some things to do to feel like a local. My friend who'd visited Athens before was able to explore new places as well the typical big sites. (Tour also starts earlier than others which is good for summer)

All four of us really enjoyed the Walking tour with Dimitris and really learned a lot about Athens- not only the typical historical things but also some interesting and funny anecdotes. I strongly recommend all visitors to Athens take this walking tour. We were here for 2 full days and this allowed us to plan the spots that we wanted to revisit on the second day. What made the experience special was our guide Jimmy the Aussie Greek who made Athens come alive with his personal touches. Toni is a fantastic guide. We had a very small group, only me, my friend, another girl who joined us later, and Toni's trainee. We walked around Athens for more than 3 hours. We've learned a lot! Toni has a great knowledge about the ancient history and ability to present it in an interesting and funny way. He is also very helpful. We asked him a lot of questions about buses, directions, local food, restaurants, prices etc. and he was able to answer them all. The tour is absolutely worth it!

The tour through Athens was very well explained. Lots of historical data and mythology review explain context and we had some extra time sitted relaxing with some more interesting facts. Dimitri is an exceptional tour guide. He seems to enjoy what he does here

We truly enjoyed our tour with Dimitris. He was passionate and informative. We were a little weary because it was free but took the chance. We were totally surprised by the quality. Dimitris gave us insights to key historical sights and gave us tidbits and advise on safety. He was a gentleman, always conscientious of making sure we were not run over and keep our safety first.
